1. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor William Wheaton opened the Regular Session at 7:00 p.m.

Comments were received from Council Members Gant, Thomas, Davis, Klepper, Waito, Mayor Wheaton, City Manager Herman, and City Assessor Borthwick.
5. PRESENTATION
a. Burnham Brook East Project Marda Hinkley
Marda Hinkley presented information on the Burnham Brook Center and the new Burnham Brook East Center here in Albion.
6. CITIZENS COMMENTS (Persons addressing the City Council shall limit their Comments to agenda items and to no more than five (5) minutes. Proper Protocol and decorum is required.
Comments were received from Mary Pressley 210 Watson Street, Shirley Shultz 119 Wiener Drive, Calhoun County Commissioner, Barb Frederick, and Mayor Wheaton.
Council Member Thomas moved, Klepper supported, CARRIED, to add Resolution #2002-10, Diesel Fuel Tax and Simplification, to the Agenda. (7-0 rcv)
7. CONSENT CALENDAR
a. Approval of Regular Session Minutes March 04, 2002.
b. Approval for American Legion to Hold Its Annual Poppy Sale on May 23, 24, & 25, 2002.
c. Approval for American Legion to Hold Traditional Memorial Day Parade and Service on May 27, 2002.
Zblewski moved, Klepper supported, CARRIED, to Approve the Consent Calendar. (7-0 rcv)
8. ITEMS FOR INDIVIDUAL DISCUSSION
a. Approval of 1st Reading of Resolution #2002-09 to Vacate Porter Street.
Thomas moved, Davis supported, CARRIED, to approve the 1st Reading of Resolution #2002-09, to Vacate Porter Street. (5-1-1 rcv Zblewski dissenting, Klepper abstaining)
b. Approve Resolution #2002-10, Diesel Fuel Tax and Simplification
Klepper moved, Zblewski supported, CARRIED, to approve Resolution #2002-10, Diesel Fuel Tax and Simplification. (7-0 rcv)

Mayor Wheaton recessed the regular meeting for a work session on water and Sewer rates at 8:18 p.m.
