BOARD OF REVIEW
Revising and correcting property assessments and hearing hardship appeals.
Charter Section 10.6 and MCL Section 211.29 provide for a Board of Review with identical qualifications. All appointees must have the qualifications of an elector of the City and are taxpayers. They are four in number and the Mayor of the City, if the Mayor can not serve, a Councilperson designated by the Council, may serve as the fifth member.
