Hours: DAYS: 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. (A Shift and B Shift) NIGHTS: 7 p.m. – 7 a.m. (C Shift and D Shift) ***The Schedule Continues to Cycle Every 14 Days*** This schedule allows you to have every other weekend to be a (3) day weekend off. Public Safety Officers and Dispatchers work (5) days during their long weeks and (2) days during their short weeks. This allows for scheduling longer vacations with the family and friends! Vacation time can also be used in conjunction with compensatory time. Most departments work an 8-Hour shift which does not allow as much time off as our department does.
